It's already been a year, feels longer than that honestly.
To those who don't know, Monty Oum, an absolutely amazing animator/writer, most known for his work at Roosterteeth and the creation of RWBY, passed away last year on February 1st due to complications during a routine surgery.
Monty was a massive inspiration for me, RWBY got me out of a creative rut that I, at the time, never thought I would get out of. The world he created was and still is beautiful and magical. His animation was fluid yet very hard and forceful. Even now whenever I feel like taking a break I think of what Monty would say if he saw me take a break; let's just say I get back to work and don't stop until I can't feel my fingers. Once again, thank you Monty, for not just what you have done for me, but the millions of fans RWBY has created around the world.
